The Steve Hudson
Launching January 2026
Open to all
Together, we can make a difference.
The initiative was announced at the Yorkville Jewish Centre’s inaugural “Stand Up, Stand Together” Gala, held in late fall. The evening brought together business and community leaders from the Jewish community and beyond, generating immense support, energy, and momentum for this vital cause. This initiative is made possible through a transformational commitment by Mr. Steve Hudson, reflecting his belief that silence is not an option, and that education and meaningful connection are the most powerful responses to antisemitism and all forms of hatred. Our goal is not simply to push back against hate, but to replace it with understanding, tolerance, knowledge, and, most importantly, a shared sense of purpose

Community
The Yorkville Jewish Centre (YJC) is a Toronto-based Jewish Centre and synagogue, and add one of the fastest growing in the GTA, and add dedicated to learning, leadership, personal growth, and community engagement.
While rooted in Jewish tradition and values, YJC is committed to engaging the broader community through education, dialogue, and bridge-building initiatives that address the challenges of our time.
The Stand Up, Stand Together Initiative reflects YJC’s belief that education and moral clarity are essential to building a more just and responsible society.
At a time when antisemitism is increasing at alarming levels across society, this initiative affirms that indifference enables hate. It provides a clear, proactive response rooted in education, awareness, and moral leadership.
Misinformation and stereotypes fuel prejudice. By creating spaces for learning, dialogue, and human connection, the initiative replaces fear with understanding and equips individuals to stand up against antisemitism and all forms of hate.
Antisemitism is not only a Jewish issue it is a societal one. This initiative brings people together across backgrounds to foster unity, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to building communities where hatred has no home.
This initiative proudly bears the name of Steve Hudson, whose leadership and generosity reflect a deep commitment to moral clarity, courage, and action. His partnership ensures this program will be accessible, impactful, and lasting.
